Personal Training Services
I am pleased to announce that I will be resuming face to face personal training sessions as of Sunday 26th July. Due to social distancing rules I will only be able to take 1-1 sessions. If you would like 2-1 sessions please consider the outdoor or online training options. (UPDATED 10th July 2020)
Considering personal training? We are all individuals and our training programs should reflect that. No one size fits all so if you have a particular goal you would like to achieve its important that the path you take is one tailored to your specific needs and current health.
The approach to your training also needs to reflect you as a person. Do you like to be pushed or do you appreciate a more supportive process? As a trainer I am here to guide and advise you but ultimately the hard work and commitment is all down to you.

Training can either be taken one to one, or if you have a friend or family member you would like to train with, two to one is also available.
Once you have made contact you will be sent a health questionnaire which will help give me an idea of your current health and wellness. I will then follow up with an informal consultation either in person or over the phone to help clarify your goals, the best pathway to take and what that will involve. For the best results, training sessions will ideally take place a minimum of once a week either at my studio in Worcester Park or online (see online programmes for further details on this).
Bumps Lumps and Star Jumps range of one to one or two to one programmes are a great option for those who want an individually tailored program suited to their current fitness levels and goals.

Bumps Lumps and Star Jumps Personal Training Programmes
These programmes have specific goals in mind focusing either on losing weight and toning up, improving strength and endurance, or wanting to be able to move with ease, pain free. To view each programme, click here.
Each session is 60 minutes in length and is available as either 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 training. Current package options are 3 x 60 minutes; 5 x 60 minutes; or 10 x 60 minutes. A monthly subscription is also available (more details on enquiry).
Holistic Core Restore® Bump – Pre Natal Training with Birth Preparation
Exercising during pregnancy will improve:
- heart and lung function improving stamina for labour/delivery
- relieve aches and pains
- improve circulation to help prevent leg cramps and swollen ankles
- prevent or treat gestational diabetes
- reduce stress, increase energy and promote better sleep
The exercise sessions are 60 minutes long and are designed around the expectant woman’s needs, level of fitness and where she is in her pregnancy.
In the final trimester, sessions after the 35 week mark will also focus on birth preparation and time is provided for 15 minutes of guided meditation. Please visit Holistic Core Restore® Bump for further details.
Holistic Core Restore® Diastasis / C-Section Recovery – Post Natal Training
Training can commence once a mum has had her 6-8 week check up with her GP or medical team and cleared for exercise (unless birthing was via C-section which requires longer recovery time).
A full consultation is completed to assess the current function of the core and pelvic floor and the woman’s postural alignment. Based on the findings, a bespoke training program is designed which will bring the woman back into full functional mode alleviating any aches and pains and keeping her fit and healthy for her role as a mother.
All exercises are designed with the pelvic floor and core in mind and are specific to typical motherhood movement patterns such as tidying toys up from the floor, lifting or lying their child into a cot, or walking with a pram and getting it up and down steps.
Sessions are 60 minutes long and will involve releases and stretches to relieve tight achy muscles, pelvic floor friendly exercises and strength training to help keep mum fit for function.

Adapting Training for the Peri to Post Menopausal Woman
This training package encompasses all the lifestyle changes that are needed to help make the journey of entering or transitioning through the menopause as smooth and as comfortable as possible.
The exercises selected help work on:
- improving muscle tone and strength
- increase bone strength to minimise the risk of osteoporosis
- improve metabolic rate which aids in fat loss
- improve posture and gait which leads to better connection to the core and pelvic floor
- improve total wellbeing
Food diaries will be requested and reviewed, with recommendations made where necessary. Massages and meditation are recommended and can be included for an extra fee. This will allow for some quiet time for the mind and relieve tension from the muscles.
All sessions are 60 minutes in length.
Holistic Core Restore® Recovery – Training after Hysterectomy or Other Surgical Procedures for Female Gynaecological Health Concerns
I approach every single client’s needs based on their current health and the treatment they are receiving or have received.
The exercises chosen are designed to improve flexibility, strength and core function.
Packages can also include massage therapy, to help free areas of the body that have either been restricted by surgery or by guarding any pain or discomfort experienced during the process.
Time is also given to discuss self-care strategies, planning for life at home and how to adapt, and also on the best nutritional choices to help aid recovery.
